How to create a thumbnail image in WP?

    This might seem amateur, but I could do it in the older versions.

    I want to create a thumbnail image that is just 400 x 300 pixels and have it displayed so that when you click the image it will display the full size of 800 X 700 pixels.

    But when I insert thumbnail image, it does not become clickable and the image just auto resizes as 400 x 300 as the MAXIMUM size….

    How to make the image a thumbnail image that can display its full size when clicked?

    Rephrasing the question, how to create a thumbnail image without showing the image link when it is mouse over?

    The only way is to input the image link in the image uploader, and I would rather not do this…
