image overlay

Hi
does anyone know of a plug-in or method that would allow me to add an overlay to certain images I put in pages/posts?

what I’m talking about specifically is that I’m making a fansite and it will have a discography.
I will use CD cover artwork but I would like to add a transparent CD case png to the images to make them look a bit better.
