The Sociable plugin you have installed is interfering. It’s using an ID of “email” which is overriding the comment form’s input box which also has an ID of “email”.
I know the author of Sociable, so I’ll contact him and get him to update the plugin.
Alternatively, remove the plugin or remove the “E-mail” type from Sociable, and that will work around it.
ok, ill try it out 🙂 thanks mate 🙂
Just installed this plugin, then I logged out to see if it’s working and there’s nothing there. My theme has the comment_form hook already installed and I don’t have Sociable.
Any ideas?
Same here, it worked but stopped to at some point while I didn’t add any new plugins. So it might be related to a WordPress update.
i am having the same problem as dcloud… no sociable plug-in and comment_form is hooked up.
Any ideas?
thecougarden.info is the website!
I’ve been trying this plug-in, and it only seems to work when users are logged in to the blog (which is not very useful to me, since what I want is for users to be able to post comments and feedback without being ‘signed in’. I tried playing with the php but no success (my php skills are not that great).
It seems to be a pretty valuable plug-in, when it works.
