Star-Mag older posts adding extra space

I’m using the Star-Mag theme from wpjunction at www[.]ppcgeeks[.]com. I’ve modified a couple of things, but nothing that should affect this.

Right now if you look at the bottom where the older posts are, you’ll see one entitled “Palm Announces Beta e-Commerce”. If this post is in the left column, it adds an extra space below it, making the other posts not line up. When it gets bumped to the right column everything is fine.

Since yesterday we’ve had 2 posts that cause this exact same problem. I’ve tried removing the images from the post and it doesn’t help. I’m not sure what’s causing it.

Any ideas?
