help with this tabbed plugin

Hi thee,
wondered if someone could help.

I’m fairly new to wordpress and am just going through bthe sprocess of setting up a wordpress site. The theme i’m using came with some bundled plugins – one of them however isn’t working as it should do.

It’s a tabbed sidebar that displays recent posts, popular posts and tags – depending on which tab you press. The problem i have is that this plugin is meant to save space on the side bar – but instead of the information being displayed when you click on of the tabs, it’s all being displayed as one large long block.

i.e the block has 3 tabs set out like this:

Recent posts | Popular Posts | Tags

what’s meant to happen is the recent posts are displayed first and only info from the other two tabs is displayed when you click on them.

But that doesn’t happen on my site – i get the three tabs – but all the info is displayed – when you click on one of the tabs the page moves down to that particular section of info.

Any help on this would be great.

The theme does have a setting section and ive gone through this to see if there is something i’m missing – the only settings available for that block are the number of items to display.

Ive gone to the plugins and widgets pages in my admin area to see if i can deactivate it – but it isn’t there – so i’m guessing it’s pre-built into the theme.

Any help is greatly appreciated
