WordPress Pingback Encoding Fix

    WordPress v1.5 fixes the trackback encoding problem between blogs with distinct charsets, but doesn’t fix the same problem with pingbacks.
    I’ve hacked xmlrpc.php to solves that problem. You can download the fixed file from here

    Thanks for going to the effort, but there is an official bug report with an official patch here: http://mosquito.wordpress.org/view.php?id=929

    This issue will be corrected in WP v1.5.1

    I think that bug is not the same problem.
    My fix solves the encoding problem on the pingback comments of a post, not in RSS.
