Twenty Sixteen entry-content customization

    Greetings

    I have a Twenty Sixteen theme installed with some custom code inside function.php
    I need to insert some text at the bottom of entry-content.
    There are some plugins also that I have installed.
    The problem is that I put my custom code in content-single.php file just before
    </div><!-- .entry-content -->
    but the system shows me first the plugin content then the one I customized.
    How can i do to have my content before the plugin generated one?

    what custom code?

    what plugins?

    plugins generally add, whatever output they add, via a filter to ‘the_content()’; if your code is directly in the template, it will always be after the plugins’ output.
