I have my wordpress and plugins updated to the latest version. CPT UI Version 1.4.1. My site is using X-theme. When I first installed the theme there were a number of conflicts but CPT UI wasn’t one of them. However after updating the plugin I realised that some of the Custom Post Types were missing. I can find them in the database but I can’t see it in the drop down list to re-save them like some of the recommendations out there. I tried creating a new post type under the old names but it tells me that I can’t because the post type e.g: “Programs” already exist.

Can you please help me with this issue? Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Ding

If they’re not showing up in the dropdown, then my hunches are that somehow the option we use for CPTUI may have been altered somehow. Can you check and see if they’re showing up in the “Registered Types and Taxes” area? If they’re missing there too, then they are very likely missing from the saved option. Push comes to shove, sharing the glob of text on the right side of the Import/Export screen should provide something as that’s just the setting JSON encoded.

Regarding the “already exists” issue, are you sure you don’t have a page created or a matching post type being created elsewhere? We do a number of checks on that part to prevent conflicts.
