• My users access website with http://www.baliasli.com.au and I want them to continue to do this, this is what they already know and have been using since inception.
    Current settings:
    WP address = http://baliasli.com.au
    Site address = http://baliasli.com.au

This creates a 301 redirect that provides the user with correct home page and details but with a significant page speed overhead.

How can I change addresses so that the 301 is removed, the page speed is increased and the page details supplied to user is the same and the user continues using the same URL?

Thanks in advance for your assistance
    Barry

  • How did you setup the 301 redirect?

Unrelated to your question but you might want to also check how many of your visitors are from mobile devices. If you have a large % then you should also consider making your website responsive. As it stands now it fails google’s mobile friendly test.
