• I have installed the WEGLOT translator plugin on this site, it adds a sub directory to the URL when it translates a page.

    EX: blowfishshoes.com/ -> blowfishshoes.com/de/

    For some reason when using the store locator template on a page it causes a 301 redirect when you visit it in another language. To reproduce:
    visit: https://blowfishshoes.com/de/store-locator

    Notice it redirects to: https://blowfishshoes.com/store-locator

    I’ve tried changing the url of the page so I know it is the plugin that is causing the redirect. Can you please advise how to stop you plugin from causing a 301 redirect on page load?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Can you try to flush the permalink cache on the Settings -> Permalinks page in the WP admin area? If that doesn’t solve it you will have to contact the author of the translation plugin. They are rewriting the URL, and may know why it fails. Maybe their plugin doesn’t support custom post types ( used by the store locator and other plugins )?

    I have flushed the permalinks already to no avail. The whole site uses custom post types and the other pages do not redirect. EX:
    https://blowfishshoes.com/de/styles/osta/

    I’ll contact the WEGLOT plugin developers to take a look, but like I said it’s only happening on your plugin’s page. Please take a deeper look.

    I’m a WP plugin author and developer so if you come up with a work around I can implement I don’t mind changing the site theme directly to get this to stop redirecting. Thanks!
