Here it goes…
Present: 300 page html website is on server A with domain directed at it.
Future: WordPress website to be built on server B.
1.How to specifically use 301 redirect .htaccess for the 300 html pages once the new website is built?
2.Will I need the 300 new pages built before doing the redirect? and would the new pages need to be named the same ex. showcase.html to showcase.php? Looking to keep the flow seamless.
I have come across a 301 redirect for the index page, but what about the other 299 pages. Looking for a simple but concrete way to accomplish this. Don’t want to muck things up.
The person who answers this will be a life saver! Thank you!
PS: If I am better off hiring a developer to write this code what would be a fair compensation?
