• I think that option 2 in the domain mapping configuration “permeant redirect”…

So just check that and google should index and rank that page rather than the subdomain?

Is there anyway to prevent or try to prevent google and bing from crawling the non-mapped site?

Just don’t want to get hit with duplicate content and don’t want to mess with any of my sub sites seo… All my sub sites are complete separate sites and I want to make sure they have there own SEO…

    Thanks so much!

Google, Bing, etc. recognize and follow redirects.

Cool so just to be super clear… The url under the hyperlink that is returned by search engines will be the mapped domain? Not my sub site…

Have you done it with your sites and see the result?

Thank you so much for clearing this up for me…
