    Site is http://dev.torontojdn.org/blog/

    I want, by default, to show the full post content, with the option for any one post, to specify and excerpt and the “more” tag.

    Have tried editing the content.php file (in both the parent and child themes) to

    <?php
    			the_content();

    i.e. remove “the-excerpt”

    but nothing I do changes anything.

  • Hi memdesigns!

    First, I want to say do not edit the themes files unless you are working with a child theme.

    Second, Admin Area >> Settings >> Read >> And here you should be able to set if it shows just a summary or full text.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks, but I’d checked that and it’s set to “full text”.

    Solved it. It’s a setting under the theme customization -> Design -> Blog post display.
