Need to duplicate website hosted on wordpress.com | WordPress.org

I have a website that I need to duplicate and give a different domain. It is a very basic site and is hosted on wordpress.com. I have looked up support and it seems complicated for the simple issue at hand.

Can someone help walk me through this?

this is the outline:

just substitute as necessary for (1) a new domain and (2) not removing the wp.com site at the end.

Thanks for getting back to me, Steve. I am not moving the site to a self-hosted site- I just want to keep both sites on wordpress.com.

Is there an easier way to do this?

Due to the differences between the free hosted blogs offered at wordpress.com and the self-hosted and self-installed version of WordPress supported here, you should probably ask WordPress.com Support instead.
