Hello,
Soundy Audio Playlist has to be enabled in the page where you want to use the plugin.
1. Edit the page.
2. Go to the Soundy Audio Playlist metabox
3. Go to the General Tab (the first tab)
4. Click on Yes radio button for the option “Enable Soundy Audio Playlist”
5. Update the page.
Ty. i can play music now 😀
My screen does not have a button option “Enable Soundy Audio Playlist” on the General Tab. It only has the option to allow downloads.
Please advise solution. Thank you!
My Soundy metabox disappeared after upgrade my WP to 4.6.1.
Anyone please help.
Thanks.
I too am not finding this metabox nor any other way to enable the player on a page.
I have tried Soundy 3.0 with WP 4.6.1 which is ok.
But Soundy 3.5 has no meta box on the pages which I put the shortcode.
Hi,
There is no metabox on the page, and no option in Screen Options to show it.
It seems this plug-in is broken.
Will you be fixing it with an update?
Thanks,
Joe
Hello,
Sure, I’d like to fix this bug but I could not reproduce it so far.
Maybe it depends on the used theme.
What theme are you using ?
Hi,
I tried all the Default Themes with WP 4.6.1 :
Twenty Twelve
Twenty Fourteen
Twenty Fifteen
Twenty Sixteen
But no meta box with Soundy 3.5.
I have to downgrade back to Soundy 3.0 to see the meta box.
Thank you in advance if there is anything we can try. It is a very good plugin and I may purchase the PRO version if it works.

BTW, I just purchased the PRO version but still no meta tag…
Please help.

Hi,
I too have tried it with default WordPress themes as listed by @haokei, wordpress 4.6.1
It should be marked as not compatible with latest version of wordpress, really.
(The theme I would ultimately like to use it with on this install is Perth, http://athemes.com/theme/perth/ )
Cheers,
Joe
Hello,
Could not reproduce the bug:
I’ve installed a new 4.6.1 WordPress site from scratch:
http://free.webartisan.ch
http://free.webartisan.ch/wp-admin ( ID: admin / PWD: 123456 )
I’ve then installed our free Soundy Audio Playlist plugin.
And everything worked fine.
The plugin metabox option appeared in all “Edit Page” admin pages as well as in the “New Page” admin page.
What am I doing differently from you ?
Found the bug. Working on fixing it.
The bug appears when you have a path to the HTML root directory after the website URL.
For example: http://www.site.com/root/
On such a site with such an address, the plugin metabox does not appear in admin edit pages.
Hello,
Thanks for making the effort to fix this.
My site is indeed installed in a sub-directory of the domain root, so that is consistent with what you’ve figured out.
Good luck, and please do let us know when you have it fixed!
Thanks,
Joe
Both free version of the plugin on WP site and pro version on WebArtisan.ch website have been upgraded with the bug fix.
Thus, the plugin metabox should now appear in admin edit and admin new pages in any circumstances.
Thanks for the bug notification !
