3.0 RC1 – Possible Bug – Categories Not Working

    I just upgraded from 2.9.2 to 3.0 RC1 to kick it’s tyres. I installed it to an existing site. I changed a post, hit update and then found that the posts category had disappeared. I made a new post, set the category and updated / saved the post. Same thing. No category.

    Anyone else seeing the same behaviour?

    I can’t duplicate that problem. What happens if you deactivate all plugins?

    If I deactivate all the plugins the categories works fine.

    I’ve been through all my plugins activating them one at a time and I’ve tracked the problem down to one, Role Scoper

    Hi,

    I just got this same problem today. I tried disabling the plug-ins but no luck.

    I upgraded to WP3.0 when it was released. The most recent update i made was themes (Twenty Ten).

    mystery… my categories mysteriously came back this monday morning, back from a week-end off I guess… i don’t know what else to say but I hope it won’t leave me again, I missed them 🙂
