3 issues: Twitter error, stops tweeting after error, old post URL tweeted

Hi there-

Overall, I love this plugin. But I’ve had some issues with it. I have a few vexing problems currently that I’m hoping someone can help me out with. Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated. 🙂

1. The most I think I’ve ever had is four scheduled posts per day, but I still sometimes get a rejected error for presumably too many tweets – even after the first one.

I have not found a discernible pattern for this. Sometimes they all post, sometimes just the first one. I spread out my scheduled posts at least 15 minutes apart due to the error, but that doesn’t seem to help.

Any thoughts on why this could be? Four posts (non-duplicated) 15 minutes apart does not seem to be unreasonable for Twitter to be rejecting them.

2. Once WP to Twitter registers an error, it seems to stop trying to send out tweets.

Is it supposed to be this way? I understand the importance of the error message, but shouldn’t it continue to send the rest? I’ve had it error out on the first try and then just skip all the rest for the day, which was really unfortunate as my posts are all time sensitive.

3. I am using http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/duplicate-post/, which is great.

However, I discovered today that even though I customize the tweet for the new post, it sends out the old URL with my new custom text, so people are getting sent to the old post.

I had too many problems with the YOURLS feature, so I turned it off, but as you can see, it tweeted the old, shortened URL.

I am up to date on the most current version of the plugin (whatever was released within the past couple of days).
