• In free version plugin only works in 50 images per time. I spent 3 days trying to optimize images on my website mto test plugin. Result: no significant results, and it damaged several images on my website, which it was unable to compress, and the image was left blank, on dozens of pages, with no option to restore the original images. Now I will have to spend more days to fix the problems the plugin caused.

    Hello @reginaldoornellas

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with Smush. By default, Smush doesn’t affect or modify the original image that you uploaded to the Media Library, but only the thumbnails that WordPress generates from those images, and which are generally used in the frontend of your site instead. If you ever have an issue with the thumbnails that were compressed by Smush, there are some ways to fix it, as we share it in our documentation:
    https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/smush/#broken-images

This includes, using the Smush’s recovery thumbnails feature or use another plugin to regenerate those thumbnails. Furthermore, it’s possible that some images work, but the LazyLoad feature from Smush may be causing these images to not load. In those cases, you can disable the LazyLoad feature to see if that fixes the issue.

If you are still having issues with the images after trying these solutions, please let us know. We would be happy to help you to solve these issues.

    Kind regards,
    Jair.
