    New blog here

I have a sidebar.php file and the widgets in WP 2.6.2 allow me to dynamically change the left and right sidebars but the right sidebar has Categories and Blogroll coded into it somehow and I can't remove/move them.

Where would a right sidebar live in the templates if there isn't a right sidebar.php and the widgets don't control some of what's coded in place?

    Thanks!!

Just go through each template file until you find it. ;-)

(That's what most of us do.)

really? I hadn't realized that, it could really be in any template? Even the footer?

Yes. Even the footer :-) For example you have floated, absolute, fixed and relative positioned divs.

You can use something like the Firebug extension for Firefox. It makes it easier to find the div name. You can then run a search through the template files to find it.

Love the guitar images by the way.
