Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » [3.5.0] Stock Update

  • Resolved siteXmedia

    Since the update to 3.5 I am getting twice as many items being reduced from stock after each sale.

    I use the WPLister plugin for eBay & Amazon, but now I see this:

    wc_update_product_stock() via wc_update_product_stock() from wc_reduce_stock_levels()

    Caller: Plugin: woocommerce
    User: cron

    This only shows in the log since the update to 3.5.0 – The guys at WPLabs are looking into it but any help here?

    Hi @sitexmedia,

    So the stock is being reduced twice for every sale after updating to 3.5,

    Can you deactivate all the plugins except for WooCommerce and check if the issue still persists? If it does not happen then activate each plugin one by one with testing to see which one is causing this issue.

    You could also switch to Storefront theme [] to check if the issue originates from the custom theme you are using.

    I had tried what you suggested and it still happened, they explained:

    “WooCommerce added an ‘enhancement’ in 3.5 wherein the order stocks will get reduced when the order’s status gets updated and this is causing the double reduction of the stocks in WP-Lister orders since it previously was up to WP-Lister to take care of the stock management.”

    This issue has now been fixed by the plugin owners WPLabs.
