Support » Plugin: Elementor Website Builder » 3.0.1 – Fonts Not Displaying Correctly

  • After upgrading to the latest version, custom fonts don’t appear to be displaying correctly. Looking at the css, it seems the substitution is not working correctly.

    I have tried regenerating the CSS.

    .elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title {
        font-family: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-family );
        font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-weight );

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • It seems that all headings inherit the “Primary” settings, even when no font size is defined there. I have tested this in a fresh install.

    Really annoying.
    I don’t even know how to fix it temporarily until Elementor make corrections.

    My headings styles are defined in theme style Typography, but it’s overridden by these new CSS parameters.

    For me it’s the font-size and line-height which are impacted by :

    .elementor-widget-heading .elementor-heading-title {
        font-size: var( --e-global-typography-primary-font-size );
        line-height: var( --e-global-typography-primary-line-height );

    Can you please share us a link so we can take a look?

    Of course!

    In the config template, I have the font ‘Poppins’, but Elementor changes it to ‘Roboto’

    Please try clearing the cache, for me it displays in the Poppins font, see screenshot:

    Check the content, no the headers.

    You have two options for handling this:

    1. Go to Elementor Editor > Site Settings > Global Fonts > Change the Text font to “Poppins” (third item).

    2. Another option is to disable the default fonts / colors by going to WP Admin > Elementor > Settings > Disable Default Colors / Fonts, in this option the all default fonts and colors inherit from the Theme Style settings.

    Let me know.

    The second option it’s works for me, thanks!!
