Hi,
Thanks for reporting the issue. I have added a fix for our next release 4.8.4.
It should be out in about 3 weeks from today.
In the mean time you could downgrade to 4.8.1 or update the Javascript files with the fix your issue.
If you get the raw contents of rsvp.js and rsvp.min.js from here:
https://github.com/moderntribe/event-tickets/tree/fix/104356-remaining-qty-shared-capacity-capped-sales/src/resources/js
And then replace it on your plugin install that can fix the issue.
It is import to backup your site just in case an issue is created.
Sorry for the delay and thanks again for reporting.

Love you Brian! I’m som grateful! The main thing is that booking works now even though the numbers in “Overview” is still fucked up after me moving people around in categories of RSVPs, and also how many seats are left in list-view of upcoming events (think it would be “RSVP now” in English) and it says there are 40 seats left when it is only 4 upcoming Saturday for instance. And I think I myself was prevented to book due to some cache issue, but I saw someone else did…
This was true progress! 🙂
Actually I thought the problem looked like when I worked in JS and tried to use the same variable namne on multiple objects on the same page… Maybe this wasn’t the case this time, but funny it was JS…
Hi @mirre1,
Thanks for reporting back! Happy to hear it worked out for you.
Is there anything else you need help with or can we close this as resolved?
Cheers,
Andras

Thank you for caring 🙂
Having multiple categories work now, but there is still issues with number of seats left in “list-view” of the calendar (events/list) and the “Overview” on page tickets-attendees.
Some is because I moved some of the people before I got the fixed js-files i guess, don’t want to mess it up more for Saturday’s event. It was full before some cancellations (people changed their PSVPs to “not coming”) BUT in list-view it says 6 seats left! You can imagine how disappointed people get when they can’t book on the next page!
Some have unbooked after that and others have booked, that doesn’t mess up the count, I canceled one person in the first category by deleting, it did work for the total count (minus 1 as it should). And I changed 2 persons in the same category to “not coming”, and guess what 🙂 In list-view I now have 4 tickets left and not 6… when it should be zero. Or actually another person unbooked and it says 5 tickets left when it should be 1…
And Overview says after these moves: (Correct number in double paranthesis)
(I also made room for two more in the first category, and , some more for the second, and fewer for the third category, it started at 10)
Overview
Category 1: 29 RSVP’d Going (1 available) ((31, 1 available))
Category 2: 15 RSVP’d Going (0 available) ((18, 0 available))
Category: 0 RSVP’d Going ((5 going!!!, 0 available))
So you see, there are a couple of issues, when moving, deleting, increasing and decreasing number of attendees.
I have plans to make a dummy event and book and unbook, move and delete etc how much problems there actually still is with the newest js-files… not all of this occured before the github-update. I will return 🙂
Hi @mirre1,
Thanks for all those details.
Once you make the dummy test please let us know about your findings.
Thanks!
