    Hi, I have WP 2FA set to enforce 2FA on subscribers, but when I log in as admin or editor, code is also demanded.

    I’m attaching the screen-shot of my settings below.
    WP 2FA – enforce settings

    The site isn’t live yet, so if the access is needed, please let me know.

    Thank you

    Hello @kooba

    Thank you for opening a new support thread and for using our plugin.

    Jut to confirm we understand the issue; when you log in as an admin or editor, are you asked to enter the code or are you asked to set up 2FA?

    Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi @robert681,
    yep, when user have 2fa configured it demands the code, if not, it enforces setting up 2FA.

    I couldn’t make it work properly so I reinstalled wp 2fa plugin and now it doesn’t demand setting up 2FA from any user, even tough it suppose to enforce it on subscribers.

    My settings:
    wp 2fa settings

    Just to clarify, what I’d like to achieve…
    I’d like 2fa to work for subscribers only and be obligatory for them.
    Admins, authors and editors should be able to login normally, without 2fa.

    Thanks :]

    Hi @robert681 just wanted to let you know that the issue seems to be fixed.
    The cause was probably the conflict with User Access plugin settings.
    Thank you for your time and help, however I have 2 more questions.

    1. I do not want the subscribers to have access to wordpress panel, however, when wp 2fa is running it redirects users to panel automatically and allows to edit their profiles for example. Is it possible to configure 2fa so all the setup is done without getting to wordpress back-end and after completion users go to the site’s content right away?

    2. I’ve added some polish translations to the plugin on this site:
    wp-2fa translations and then generated and downloaded po and mo files. I copied it to my site via ftp but it doesn’t seem to work. Would you please tell me how exactly this should be done? Maybe I’ve missed something.

    Thank you

    Hello @kooba

    Thank you very much for keeping us updated about the issue. I am glad to hear it was solved. Can you please tell me which plugin it is? I’d like to run some tests, to make sure there are no conflicts.

    Below please find the answers to your questions;

    1) Yes, it is possible to do all of that. You can create a 2FA front-end setup page and also redirect the users to a specific page after setting up 2FA. You can read more about it here;

    allowing users to configure 2FA from the front-end of the website
    redirect users to a specific URL after 2FA setup

    Please let me know if this helps or if you need any further information from our end.

    2) For the translations to work, the .mo file should be copied to the /languages/ directory in the plugin. It should also have the correct name, for example wp-2fa-pl_PL.mo

    If all if the above is set up correctly, please send us the translation files and we can test them. Send us an email at support at wpwhitesecurity dot com. We can also add them on the repo.

    Also, thank you very much for translating the plugin.
