2FA code works at setup, fails later

    I’ve set up 2FA several times on a site. It sets up properly each time – the code is accepted. A day or more later, I cannot log into the site because the generated code is not accepted. I have to log in with a backup code. Using Lastpass Authenticator, an approved app for WordFence’s 2FA. The site is hosted on Siteground. The server time and browser time are, at most, 1 second off. I have no problem with LP’s app on other Siteground sites using WordFence’s 2FA.

    Hi @onemooresam,

    I’d like to get a bit more information regarding your setup.

    Can you go into Wordfence -> Tools -> Diagnostics -> Send Report by Email? Put your username onemooresam as the Ticket Number/Username and the email as wftest@wordfence.com.

    Hi Dave,

    Thank you for reaching out. I turned off 2FA on the site that prompted this post.
    However, I just experienced this on another site – separate account, but still on Siteground. I’ve sent you the diagnostics as requested.
