If site mostly "pages" do I really need to do this?

My sites are mostly “pages” not “posts.” My posts (news stories) are only published about once every two weeks. They are a small percentage of the page views. Does that mean that I really don’t need to worry about this, at least for now, since the plugin only works for “posts” anyway? Or will the lack of AMP penalize my entire site?

With high Adsense revenue and Cloudflare to also work out with this, I’m obviously not anxious to embark on yet another technical rabbit hole.
