Changing site urls (really stubborn)

    Hello,

    for the past few days I’m facing this challenge of changing my site urls.
    I’ve followed the instructions in the codex: https://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress “Changing Your Domain Name and URLs”
    I’ve tried with all suggested plugins that changes the values in the database(with exclusion only of WP-CLI), but none of them woks for me.
    I’ve edited wp-config.php and functions.php as described in the codex (https://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL), but still – it doesn’t work.
    For some reason I don’t see the option of changing my urls in my admin panel in Settings->General.
    I also tried to change the urls in my database manually by updating them in wp-options table, but it doesn’t do anything either.

    Now I run out of more ideas. Any suggestions?

    Ok. I figured it out.
    Somehow I didn’t notice before that I actually can change urls in my dashboard. Now it all works fine but it’s interesting that all of those steps that I took didn’t work out, only this simple change in settings.
