No toolbar

    Hi

    have been writing a WordPress blog for over seven years. Since upgrading to 4.6 (and have checked for updates several times!) the toolbar has disappeared.

    Whilst I can still write posts, I can no longer insert pictures, italicise or put in links.

    I am not very technically minded, so if you can explain any solutions in plain English I would be very grateful!

    Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
