  • Hi there,

I’m not able to access your site at calowries.co.uk without entering my information into the subscription form. Are you using a plugin to generate that subscription page or form?

The instructions provided in the link you gave are all correct: You can add the code by navigating to the editor for a post/page and then switching to the Text tab.

If you’d like to add it to a consistent area for all posts/pages on your theme then you will first need to set up a child theme.

In case you’re unsure, the following guides provide a good introduction to child themes, including steps to set one up:

After you have set up your child theme, you will be able to add the button directly to your theme’s files.

If you can put your site live or point me to where exactly you’re trying to add the button, then I might be able to advice you on the specific file you’ll need to edit.
