• Hello
I have strange problem with many of me sites. It started probably week ago.
Index.php is rewriting it self and it cause to not load site properly. Basically it will not load theme usual there is broken code like ( is missing or /* not finished correctly when i correct the code it works again but next day same happen but its random i have 30 sites/landing pages and it happen randomly on the sites. I have tried update to 4.6 but not helped. It is possible that i have virus or some script in me web-hosting that can cause this? it started after i had problems with databases but the problem “fixed” itself after few hours (so im assuming it was hosting problem /godaddy) so i have no idea whats wrong. Any help is wellcome

  • If the index.php in the wp root is truely being rewritten, then I would suspect your site has been hacked.

Down load a copy of a changed index.php then download a new copy of wordpress to your computer and unzip it.

compare the content of the two files. If you see lots of strange code, then you have been hacked and need to start recovering your sites. You should read thru FAQ My site was hacked and start following it’s suggestions. Good Luck!
