Migrate posts to newly renamed post type

    It changes the post type value for all posts in the currently-edited post type in CPTUI.

    If I create a post type of “movie”, and then create 3 posts in that “movie” post type, and want to rename the “movie” to “film”, that checkbox will move those 3 from “movie” to “film”. That way they appear in the post list for film, instead of being “lost” in the database due to having the old “movie” post type value still.

    The option is going to help you for one post type, but if you’re needing to merge many post types into one, it won’t get you all the way.
