Request: Google style next open time

    Thanks for a great plugin, Nate – really appreciate your awesome work!
    I wonder if I could be cheeky enough to ask for an enhancement, which will definitely earn a 5-star rating 😉

    When you do a Google maps or Google+ search, you will notice that the resulting listings show opening times for today, with a drop down arrow to show all opening hours. For example:
    “Hours: Open today · 12–3PM, 6–10PM”
    Clicking on the dropdown arrow shows:

    Hours:
    Tuesday 12–3PM, 6–10PM
    Wednesday 12–3PM, 6–10PM
    Thursday 12–3PM, 6–10PM
    Friday 12–3PM, 6–10PM
    Saturday 6–10PM
    Sunday 12–4PM
    Monday 6–10PM

    It would be awesome if you could provide a widget option that intelligently showed the hours for today only, with an option to see all opening hours.

    Hi Michael,

    That sounds like a good idea. I’ve logged it as a feature request in the development repository. That said, it’s not a common request and so not that high on my priority list. I wouldn’t want you to expect it any time soon.

    This would be an easy addon to build. If you have a little spare cash to throw at the problem, I’d recommend you check out codeable.io, which matches small customization projects like this with qualified freelancers.

    I hope you’ll give the plugin a review based on how you feel about it as-is, rather than in exchange for any future development. I’m sure you did not intend any ill-will, but please understand that for many plugin developers like myself, we experience such promises of reviews as a form of blackmail.
