    Hi vikashautar,

This plugin has never been tested below version 3.8. But I gave it a go!

I found out that the latest version that works is version 2.2.4.

In any later version, doing_filter() has been introduced to prevent theme conflicts, which is a non-existent function until WordPress 3.9 (I see I need to update the minimum required version…). This causes a crash when the title is being output.

Please note that on WordPress 3.5 to 3.7 the SEO Bar’s mouse-hover information can’t be displayed correctly, as the CSS is targeted at WordPress 3.8 and later.
I also want to make you aware that WordPress 3.5 is vulnerable to known security issues.

If you ever were to upgrade your website, you can safely do so. There are upgrading methods in place for these situations within The SEO Framework.

    Best of luck!

P.S. If I were you I’d set up a test server with WordPress 4.5 and copy your site’s software there… Resolve any conflicts that arise and safely go from there :). WordPress is known for its backwards compatibility.

    Dank je Sybre!

We are upgrading our entire site in the next month so we’ll be able to upgrade everything than.

    Thanks again,

    Vikash
