All body content text, logo, background image and login form shows just fine when using Chrome, FireFox and Edge browsers.

In Opera v12.18 64bit, all the text and the logo are gone, showing only the background image and login form.

I did some testing in Opera v12.18 64bit. I copied the page source from the Maintenance page in Opera v12.18 64bit, copied the code to a local desktop “file.html” for local viewing and testing.

    This is what I found:

    When I removed:

    <link rel='stylesheet' id='_iconstyle-css'
    and
    <link rel='stylesheet' id='_style-css'

from between the <head> tags, the body content text appears (unstyled of course). When I replace these linked style sheets references, the body text disappears.

    When I removed:

    <div id="content" class="site-content">

that wrap the body content, the text content and logo shows in Opera (unstyled of course).

When I replace the ID and class selector names, the body text and logo completely disappear.

I looked at the plugins CSS files and could not find the cause.

The Opera 64bit browser I tested in, its information is:
    Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 6.2; Win64; x64) Presto/2.12.388 Version/12.18

    Now here is the difference.

When I used Opera version 39 browser (current download) 32 bit, all works fine. Here is that browsers info:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.82 Safari/537.36 OPR/39.0.2256.48

  • Hello Mark,

Thanks for using our plugin and letting us know about this problem.
I’ve sent your request to the development department. They will test it and solve the error. The changes will be added in one of the next versions of Maintenance plugin.

    Best regards

    Hi Mark,

We recommend to upgrade Opera to the latest version. Opera 12 based on presto doesn’t support some css styles. Opera rejected the use of this engine in the desktop version, and starting from version 15 is using webkit.

Thanks for the reply and info.

Unfortunately, it appears Opera stopped building the specific 64bit build.

I now do have the current Desktop version 39.0.2256.48

That shows the maintenance page properly.
