I too cannot login into admin dashboard. It redirects me to a 404 not found page after inserting the credentials.
Deleting the plugin didn’t solve the problem.

The message “This has been disabled.” is normally displayed when you try to access the Dashboard login page using wp-admin or wp-login.php while you enabled the iTSec plugin Hide Backend feature.

I know..I changed the login page a long time ago and everything worked fine until yesterday.. I didnt change any option. It jist stopped working and got this error
Issue solved. It was caused by another plugin. Thanks
Bumping this one up because a few hours after I updated to 5.6.1 this issue cropped up.
“This has been disabled” is now all we see. Can’t login. Can’t do anything. Renaming the plugin directory and removing .HTACCESS section has no effect.
Did anyone else get this problem going from 5.6.0 to 5.6.1. It was working so well for so long.
@outcats85
May I ask which plugin you found affecting this? Hopefully it will fix my issue as well.
It was Jetpack. They released the new version then widraw it from the repositort. Try removing it and reinstalling it.
Wow. Thanks! That at least got me back in. But my main admin account is still triggering the brute force ban. Not sure how to get around that 🙁
I had this message after I (a) installed “Easy HTTPS (SSL) Redirection” and selected “Enable automatic redirection to the “HTTPS”, and for “The whole domain” (b) I had installed “WPS Hide Login” (c) I tried in re-visit the Admin section.
The solution for me, was simply to log-in again.
my website worked well until yesterday but i had same issue from today
it suddenly appeared when i tried to do log-in into wp-admin
“This has been disabled”
I was sure it was new plugin problem,
deleted ‘WPS Hide Login’ plugin
“WPS Hide Login was successfully deleted.”
it works now.
I am getting the same error. This worked fine just a few days ago. I need this solved ASAP. The plugin doesn’t work properly.
