[Plugin: Gengo] edit publish fields

you should not use Gengo on WP 2.8 – it was broken eversince 2.3 came out. It was somewhat fixed to work with 2.5 but a lot of issues remained. I have used it on 2.7 with a lot of limitations and errors.

I liked Gengo a lot but sadly, development of Gengo is dead…

Maybe you should try another multilingual plugin:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xili-language/ – looks very promising but still at an early stage of development

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qtranslate/ – quite popular but I wouldn’t recommend it because of the approach it uses
