Integrating with Yet Another Photo Blog plugin

Has anyone had any success in integrating YAPB with this theme, i love the plugin and love the theme but getting them to work together is a real pain.

I’ve got it working for individual post pages, but I cant figure out how to alter the images that appear in index.php.

or if anyone knows of a plugin that is similar to YAPB, that would be great (the main feature I use are changing the post date to that of the photo exif data, and displaying the exif data on a page)
