Contact Form 7 Submit button spinning

I just took over a WP account for someone and I am having issues with the contact form. I am getting emails sent when the form is filled out and when the submit button is pressed, however there is never a fail message or a confirmation message. The arrows just sit and spin. I have done some searching and have tried with all other plugins deactivated. I also deleted WP Super Cache as it wasn’t being used anyways on the account.

I am stuck…I really am. Again the form is being sent, but the user doesn’t know as there is no confirmation. Any suggestions?
