• Hello,
I am setting up a memberships website using Paid Membership Pro (Pro level) and I wanted to make sure I am doing the right thing. We sell tutoring videos with a membership. We offer two membership payment options and they both grant access to all our videos.

The first membership payment type is a 5 day trial where the member gets charged $5 initially and then $20 after the 5 day trial pass. To achieve this I added the subscriptions delay add on and setup the delay to 5 days.

Then, the second membership payment type is to pay for 6 months in advance and to achieve that I added the Register Helper Add On and added the php code (my_pmpro_checkout_level.php)to PMPro customizations plugin. Not sure what other setup do I need to do here. Could please provide me with a link to additional documentation?

I also need to add a pop up referral discount to members that refer a friend. So if a member refers a fiend they both get 10% off their monthly membership (no trial on this option) I added the popup maker plugin in but I am not sure if that is the right way to achieve that. Could please provide me with a link to right documentation?

To limit member credential sharing I added the WP Bouncer add on. Do I need to add additional code to setup?

To change the layout style of the membership level page, I added the Levels as DIV Layout Add On and I see it is now layout differently, but I would like to change the text of the button and do some more style editing. Is that possible?

  • Any and All documentation is in the main PMPro Site
    http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/

if you are a paid member then you will get to see everthing and have access to the Addon.

I am guessing that since you have already added the Subscription Delays Add on then you are a paid member..

I suggest you post to the Support Forum in the PMPro site to get faster and better help than you would here..

We try to limit support in here and combine all the above support to the support area above..

Thanks for using PMPro and hope it does a great job for you..

    Hello,
Yes, we have the paid members plugin.
I know where to find the documentation I just wanted to make sure that I was using the right addons.

    Hi there,

You are able to use the ‘advanced levels add-on’ to edit the level checkout page (http://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/plus-add-ons/pmpro-advanced-levels-shortcode/)

    Your setup does sound correct.

Since you are a paid member, I would suggest opening a thread on the paid support forums and you should receive a quicker response from PMPro’s support staff 🙂

Would you mind opening up a support ticket on PMPro’s support forum with all your queries and someone from the team will take a look at it and assist you in any queries.
