    Hi,

Right now, this plugin sitemap feature creates 2 different sitemap indexed:

    – Posts
    – Pages

I’ve made some modifications to my site structure, so right now post and pages and treated the same way. Example:

Category: .com/keyword/ (I removed base category)
    Page: .com/keyword/
    Post: .com/keyword/title-of-post/

So I don’t want to have different sitemap files for pages and post. I just need one simple sitemap file that lists all URLs. Is this doable with WordPress SEO?
    Thanks

  • Hello.

I am not sure about solution for issue but I am sure that this would help you to understand the importance of different sitemap URLs.

    Thank you

Thanks for the tip, but I do know why I need one single XML. By the way, that post does not apply to my site:

“Added Clarification: Adding a multiple sitemap structure does not guarantee better indexation or more traffic, but it CAN have that affect. Razoo did have a sitemap implemented before, but they were not updated and did not reflect the site’s content. The results shown at the end of this post are after they implemented new and multiple sitemaps.”
