Last letter of permalink being cut off again with 2.8.2

    I know this was fixed in an earlier 2.x version of WP, but I noticed this problem with an 2.8.2 installation. I’m hoping it’s fixed in 2.8.3.

    Can anyone confirm?

    Is there something temporarily I can put in the code so that this problem doesn’t recur?

    Hi,

    Check with these options:

    Please disable all the plugins and have check with permalinks. enable them one by one to find out the culprit.

    Check the permalink settings from wordpress admin area and make sure that you have set the correct settings.

    However, 2.8.3 is released so upgrade and have a check with new version too.

    Shane, yes, thanks – like I asked in the original post, I’m just curious to know if 2.8.3 has the same issue.

    Since it happens 70% of the time, I’m not sure if disabling individual plugins always helps.

    But FWIW, it didn’t happen on 2.8.1 on this particular blog install…
