Archive FROM postid

Hello,

my question is about the wp_get_archives function. I think. Actually whatever piece of code which does this would work just fine for me.

The thing is that normally all archives display a number of posts. Something like this wp_get_archives(‘type=postbypost&limit=15&format=html’). But you already have lets say 10 posts on your homepage so those are being displayed / linked twice.

Is there any way to display 12 posts that were submitted before the ones already being displayed on the homepage?

I’ve searching and couldn’t find anything. I will try to code something myself later but I’m not that used to PHP so probably it won’t work lol. That’s why I’m posting on these forums.

Any help would be welcome.
