[Plugin: Yoast Breadcrumbs] Can’t add HTML in breadcrumb prefix

In changing the setting of “Prefix for the breadcrumb path:” in Yoast Breadcrumbs to include some HTML – like this:

Home > 

After pressing “save”, the setting is escaped like this:

Home >

which is fine, but this does not achieve the desired result. Now the quotes are escaped and the HTML will not work.

What is the corrects way to add simple HTML file references in the settings?

BTW: Each time this setting is saved, another set of backslashes are added… looks funny – but not at all useful 🙂
