Problem with front page and categories

I am using categories on my menu and now whenever i put my website name (temporary domain http://425.a34.myftpupload.com/) the first thing that pops up is an empty page. How can i change it so something shows when people put in my web address? Please help Im using all categories on the menu (home, deals etc…)
