• Hello!

This forum has proven helpful to me in the past, so I’ll try again with a problem I can’t seem to fix with my small brain + amateurish Google skills.

I have working internal and external links (links to my other pages, links to facebook/twitter) on my desktop site, but when on mobile – the links behave as if they aren’t links. Just blue text. Navigating my menus works on mobile, as does clicking links to posts from the sidebar.. But any link that I made simply doesn’t work.

    WordPress.org version 4.5.3; “Mobile” theme

Thanks so much in advance – if I have broken forum rules please be gentle, I will learn.

EDIT: On the mobile version of my website, none of the text can be selected. When I select and hold (as if to copy text), nothing gets selected, like the text isn’t even there. It should be noted that I have images that are supposed to link as well, and they do not work on mobile either. I hope this helps identify the problem – which I’m guessing has to do with my piss-poor theme selection. Thanks!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
