Hi Michelle,
Thank you for the kind words! We can get this working…
You will need to use a Global Block to display content on a category page.
- Locate the Blox Lite menu item in the admin and select Add New.
- Enter a title and the content you want
- Choose the position
- Important Part: The Location tab is where you will target the category archive you want the block to show up on. Start by choosing Show on Selected –> check Archive Pages –> choose Selected Archive Types –> check Event Categories (tribe_events) –> then you can either choose to show the content on all event categories or drill down further to the specific category archives you want to show it on.
Now this is not related to your question, but another user who was using The Events Calendar asked it, so I am going to add it here. There is also an archive for ALL events that you create. This looks something like http://www.yourdomain.com/events. To target this page with a block, on the Archive Pages section of the Location tab, you will want to check Post Type, and then drill down to Events. This option is a bit hidden and people tend to miss it!
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Nick
