ID gallery numbers disappeared from upload list after plugin update

    Hello,

    The ID numbers of the galleries disappeared from the gallery list in the “Upload Images”, inside the menu “Add Gallery / Images”. Now it shows only a list with the names of the galleries. Before the update of the plugin it showed the ID number and then the name. The ID number helps me a lot to easily find the gallery that I want and as I have some hundreds of galleries I really miss this option. Can you help me to find a way to show the ID number of the galleries again? Thank you.

    @bruno-maia – We do not have that specific functionality within NextGEN Gallery at this time … it may have been a modification that was made on your site. If this is the case, and you have that modified code we would be happy to see it as it is something that has been requested as a new feature and your shared code may be of assistance in adding this feature sooner than later.

    Hello Cais,

    I’m sorry but I’ve been using NextGEN for years in different websites and templates, and this functionality existed before. My websites have more than 200 galleries and with the list only with the name it’s really hard to find the gallery where I want to add new images. I have galleries with similar names, so start typing the name of the gallery isn’t enough.

    So, for example, before the list was like:

    1 | Galerie name
    2 | Galerie name
    3 | Galerie name
    …

    And now:

    Galerie name
    Galerie name
    Galerie name
    …

    In the worst case I need at least an alphabetic order in the list – Is this possible?

    @bruno-maia – Although there are areas within the plugin that do show the Gallery ID with the Gallery Name, this has not been part of NextGEN Gallery as is under Gallery > Add Images / Gallery feature set.
