• I think this plugin could have a better straight-forward explanation of what it does, or more functionality to live up to its name.

As far as I can tell from using it, this plugin works like this:

    1. you create a widget in a sidebar on one sub-site
    2. you then tell that widget to work only on another sub-site (and only one — not all, or some)

    That’s it??

    Hi mkormendy,

The plugin works like this: You create a widget in a sidebar on one sub-site and you can set it up to run as it were running on another sub-site.

Let’s take the Recent Posts Widget example. If you are on sub-site X, and you add a Recent Posts Widget and set it up to run in the context of sub-site Y. The widget will return the recent posts from sub-site Y instead of the sub-site X. It basically switches the context (database tables and everything else) so the widget can run using data from the selected site.

I’ll update the README in the next update to make it clear.

I have tried the plugin but it does not collect the content from the source site. On the source site, the content of a text widget needs to be transferred to the goal site. In my case the widget is a footer widget as well, so no sidebar.

Webber .. why don’t you create a new thread instead of hijacking mine.
