Hey – backup STALLS with the following error:

wp_postmeta has very many rows (2017701) – we hope your web hosting company gives you enough resources to dump out that table in the backup.

Any idea of how much memory would be needed?

Have optimized and removed duplicates and orphans… using: WP DB Cleaner but cannot get this table any smaller…

    recommendations?

    Hi,

Could you ask your hosts/server admin what your site’s maximum execution time is, and if this can be increased? If so, could you try increasing this to 900 seconds (or as high as possible).

It would also be useful to increase the memory limit (to something like 512MB if possible).

Then could you attempt a fresh backup of the Database only?
