Image upload problem still!!!

    Hi,

    I’ve posted this question several times now and tried all recommended solutions but still no result! Infact now the flash uploader option has gone!!!?

    The message I get is:
    “Unable to create directory /home/8753/cleareality/www.cleareality.co.uk/public_html/http://www.cleareality.co.uk/wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

    Latest attempt was to change permissions of upload folder to 777 but that hasn’t worked either.

    This is so frustrating. I’ve followed every suggested solution. Surely it shouldn’t be this problematic uploading images!!!?

    I don’t know what advice you’ve previously been offered, but there’s clearly something amiss in where wordpress is trying to place your files:

    “Unable to create directory /home/8753/cleareality/www.cleareality.co.uk/public_html/http://www.cleareality.co.uk/wp-content/uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”

    /home/8753/cleareality/www.cleareality.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/uploads would be a more likely target. What do the two boxes say under your Miscellaneous settings?

    Hey, it worked!!!! Thanks soooo much.

    I had the full pate the url in the miscellaneous settings – I must have misunderstood earlier advise.

    NOW I can get the site finished.
