Hi, this is very strange. This is the first time I hear of something like this. Are they buying 2 of the same product?
Yes, two of the same product and their name and email address etc is the same.
Have they being charged correctly for the two products?
It apparently took a long time for one of the sales to go through, but they have now been charged for the products.
Okay that is good news for you. So I guess this issue is resolved.
Well, except that I have no record of one of the sales on my site. Does PayPal generate the sale ID number? If so this is probably their fault.
You might want to check your PayPal account. There should be a record in your account.
I will leave this thread open until you report back π
Thank you
There are records of two sales in the PayPal account, two seller emails were generated by the plug-in, but only one record was created in Cart Orders. And in the log.txt both transactions have the same ID number. That can’t be right, can it? I’m prepared to believe it’s PayPal’s fault.
That is very strange both transaction having the same ID number. Do you by any chance have a cache plugin installed? Do you use CDN in your site?
I have W3 Total Cache. I don’t know what CDN is.
Have you configured your cache plugin not to cache your store URL?
CDN = Content Delivery Network.
No, but I’ll try that.
On the question of transaction numbers, the transaction ID number the goes out with the seller emails has no resemblance to the transaction ID number in the Cart Orders page. Is that how it should be?
